Hi everyone!
Our family is growing and I'm starting this blog to keep everyone updated on our adoption journey. the little guy we will be bringing home is two years old, he is perfect, he is adorable, and he is blind. He was abandoned around 10 months of age and is currently living in a wonderful foster home where he is very well taken care of and loved. We are so thankful for that! We will be naming him Gabriel, as you may have figured out by the blog title, and we'll keep his Chinese name as his middle name. God has a plan for our family and we're excited about it!
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, "declares the Lord", plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Adoption is very expensive, the total cost will be around $35,000. We are stepping out in faith on this journey. We have some savings but not nearly enough to cover the adoption. We will be having various fundraisers and being very thrifty to try and save every penny we possibly can. Our first fundraiser will be a puzzle fundraiser, more about that in the next blog post….stay tuned.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
Please pray for us as we prepare to bring our little guy home, and pray for Gabriel, that his heart would be prepared for adoption.

I don't know you but I, am.friends with Heather hicklin mills but.I just want to.say I.will be praying.for you and your family and Gabriel that he has a.smooth transition.very excited for.you guys nothing more special than to give a child the love they were born to have and to show them God's love good luck and God bless
